Late Policy

We understand things happen, and we run behind sometimes; whether it's us running over with a client or you are getting stuck in traffic, please be advised that there is a 10-minute grace period. Being more than 10 minutes late can result in insufficient time to do all your services and possibly needing to reschedule due to other scheduled appointments. If you don't make it and must reschedule, the no-show/cancellation fee must be paid in full before rescheduling your appointment. If you need to arrive on time, please call or text us before being marked as a no-show and charged the fee.

No-Show and Cancellation Policy

Appointment cancellation and no-show fees are unfortunately necessary due to unavoidable expenses and valuable time allocated to clients when they make appointments. Failure to cancel or reschedule your appointment within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time will result in you being charged half the cost of your scheduled services. Future appointments will require a deposit upon booking. Your deposit will hold all future appointments unless you fail to cancel or reschedule within 24 hours. Thank you for your understanding.

Reschedule Policy

Appointments can only be rescheduled twice before being canceled. Once the appointment is canceled, you must pay a deposit upon booking your next appointment. Your deposit must be paid before your appointment is accepted. Your deposit will hold all future appointments unless you cancel within 24 hours, reschedule the same appointment more than two times, or don’t show up.

Skincare Questions & Answers

  • Which facial should I get if I've never had one or need to know which kind to get?

  • How long after my facial should I wait to wear makeup?

We recommend wearing makeup at least 24 hours after any skincare treatment.

  • How long do I need to avoid the sun?

Stay out of direct sunlight for 24-48 hours. When in the sun, reapply your sunscreen every two hours, seek shaded areas, wear a hat, or use an umbrella.

  • Am I a candidate for dermaplaning?

The following are contraindicated for dermaplaning.

*Active acne lesions, cold sores, rosacea, sensitive skin, bruised skin, sunburned skin, dermatitis, uncontrolled diabetes, hemophilia, moles, skin tags or warts, prescription strength Retin-A or the use of Accutane within the past six months.

Waxing Questions & Answers

  • How long does my hair have to be to get waxed?

Your hair should be at least 1/4 inch long, which is about the length of a grain of rice. Your first Wax usually takes two weeks of growth.

  • How often do I need to get waxed?

Every 3-4 weeks, depending on your growth cycle. Consistency is critical to achieve the best results!

  • Can I get waxed on my period?

Yes! Just make sure to wear a fresh tampon. Also, note you may be a little more sensitive than usual.

  • Can I wax while pregnant?

Yes! Waxing is safe for pregnancy!

  • What is the difference between all of the bikini waxes?

A Bikini Line Wax is just the outer part of your bikini. It is precisely four-finger widths off the sides and two-finger widths off the top. The Full Bikini Wax is as much or as little as you want to be taken off the front. It doesn't include the butt strip. The Brazilian Wax is as much as, or as little, taken off of the front and consists of the butt strip!

  • What are the dos and don'ts of waxing?

DON'T use any AHAs or Retinoids for 3-5 days before having that area waxed. It can result in lifted skin!

DO Exfoliate 48 hours before your Wax to ensure your hair isn't trapped under dead skin cells.

DO Moisturize every morning and evening to keep your skin hydrated and nourished. This also allows the hair to grow back in smoothly and prevents hair breakage during your Wax, meaning fewer ingrown hairs and a more comfortable wax!

DON'T Shave, Tweeze, Nair, or use any other form of hair removal in between your waxes! You will increase your risk of ingrown, mess up your growth cycle, and have to start your wax journey back over, which means you have to regrow your hair for two weeks and go through the pain all over again. Just don't do it. It's not worth it!

Wait to wear tight clothes until or after your appointment! Let your skin breathe and allow it time to heal. Your pores stay open 24 hours after your Wax, so be easy on your skin.

DO Wait 24 hours before exercising, swimming, tanning, having sex, soaking in a bathtub/hot tub, or using any kind of sauna! Again, your pores stay open for 24 hours after waxing, so we don't want to introduce bacteria into them!

DON'T Exfoliate more than three times a week! Over exfoliating can lead to excessive dryness and irritation and can cause more damage than good. Stick to three times a week, and if you feel that isn't enough, ask your esthetician about other methods of exfoliation.
